If you are interested in operating a business in Manitoba, the first step is to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), accompanied by an Exploratory Visit and a Business Intent Summary. Meet the eligibility criteria set by the government’s Adaptability Assessment Matrix in terms of age, business or work experience, net worth, investment commitment, good-faith deposit, and language proficiency. Points are awarded based on connections to Manitoba and the skills of the applicant’s dependents. Manitoba will assess all submitted EOIs and select top candidates to apply for nomination.
